Taipei Economic & Cultural Office Exhibit July 2017

By Past Exhibit

I was honored to have one of my Chinese calligraphy paintings, “In the Gentle Wind Bamboo Sings by Itself,” accepted in to the Exhibit of Calligraphy and Paintings at the Taipei Economic & Cultural Center in Los Angeles in July 2017.  It is a distinction to have a Chinese calligraphy created by a Westerner accepted by the Asian community, as they are very critical of the way in which this 2,000 year old artistic tradition is executed.

Here is a video of the reception.
