Description:I learned the crinkled paper technique studying with Professor Su at the Dept. of Art at Beijing University in 2013. This inspired me to create a series of crinkle paper paintings with birches and also mountains.
One of my inspirations is the idea of capturing the atmosphere in a painting, such as snow, mist, haze, glare. It is not easy. I call this "painting air."
