Description:This is classic Chinese calligraphy, a couplet which means: "Be open to all that Heaven and Earth have to offer."
The heaven in Chinese mythology is round, while the earth is flat, so I represented this concept in strong yet elemental brush strokes.
The Japanese "enso" or Zen circle can represent openness.
This painting won the 2018 American Artists of Chinese Brush Painting OUTSTANDING AWARD.
